The Road to Liberation

【Editorial】

The Road to Liberation starts with having a right understanding of the world we are creating (Samsara, page 41) and the source of our true blessings (The Best Sacrifice, page 40).

Going on a pilgrimage rejuvenates those travelling on the path.

For the practitioners, a pilgrimage is not mere sightseeing. The holy sites of contemplation remind one of the words and deeds of the Buddha and the Enlightened Ones and evoke deep feelings of gratitude and devotion. These feelings in turn become the source of our strength and inspiration in dhamma as we proceed on the path of liberation.

In this issue, follow two pilgrims Jeffrey Po and Vincent Lim to the holy sites of Sri lanka and Shanxi Province, China as they unravel their discoveries on pages 44 and 46 respectively.
