橙味冬瓜条 / Orange-Flavoured Winter Melon Strips -- 文与图:余稀灵 翻译:颖心

材料:

冬瓜 150克, 浓缩橙汁 100克, 凉开水 100克

做法:

1. 将浓缩橙汁与凉开水兑在一起,搅匀,置冰箱冷藏20分钟备用。

2. 冬瓜去皮,切成小条状,约1cmX6cm放在热水当中煮一分钟,捞起,沥干水。

3. 倒入冷藏过的浓缩橙汁当中,泡40分钟左右即可。

提示:

这道菜不建议用鲜榨橙汁来做,因为冬瓜条难以上色与入味。

Ingredients:

winter melon 150g, concentrated orange juice 100g, cold water 100g

Method:

1. Mix the concentrated orange juice and water together. Chill for 20 minutes.

2. Skin winter melon and cut them into 1cm x 6 cm strips. Boil for 1 minute in hot water. Remove and drain away water.

3. Soak the strips in the chilled concentrated orange juice for about 40 minutes. Serve.

Note:

Wintermelon does not readily absorb colourings and flavours, therefore it is not recommended to use fresh orange juice.
